DR. GREGORY GUTH, DDS

It is with great pleasure that Dr James Blake DDS and his entire staff welcome Dr Gregory Guth DDS as the newest member to our General Dental office located at 247 Buffalo St in the village of Hamburg.

Born and raised in Western New York the son of prominent area physicians Drs. Kenneth Guth M.D. and Carol Cooley-Guth M.D., Gregory Guth attended Canisius High School in Buffalo. He studied Piano and English at SUNY Geneseo where he obtained his BA in English, then went on to SUNY Buffalo for his Masters degree in biology.

With an interest in healthcare, in part due to influence from parents, Gregory worked as a dental assistant for several years. He became increasingly fascinated with dentistry, and determined to pursue a doctorate and career as a dentist. Accordingly he attended and graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with his D.D.S., and subsequently completed his general practice residency training at ECMC.

Dr. Guth is currently a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Eighth District Dental Society. In his spare time Dr. Guth serves as a church musician, enjoys playing the piano, working on cars, and expanding his knowledge and enthusiasm for the art and science of dentistry.
